In the year of 2007 a cardboard packaging box was painted with 100% waterproof
coating Sun Glare 5 to be used as a fishpool.
It can also be made with Sun Glare 10, Sun Glare 20 or Sun Glare 30.

See technical characteristics > Sun Glare 5 is a protective coating for roofs. It protects against UV and Infrared rays, intense weathering, marine environment and is a very efficient reflective thermal insulator as well as a 100% waterproofing coating. It resists intense rains and constant presence of water ( puddles ). It's made from our green 100% acrylic, nano-pollution free nano-resin Nano Acryl GP. For this reason it repels UV rays as well as Infrared ( heat ), so it reduces drastically the temperature fluctuation of the protected material and, for consequence, its thermal movements. |
For its high Solar Reflectance Index ( 106 ), Sun Glare 5 can be applied upon asphalt or bituminous carpets, to improve notably thermal insulation. Sun Glare 5 can be applied on almost any kind of materials, having an exceptional strength of adhesion, as well as a high resistance to abrasion. When properly maintained, can last for more than 5 years. It's washable with common household detergents and chlorine and is Anti-fungi, Anti-algae, Anti-fouling and Auto-cleaning ( Hydrophobic, Water repellent, Lotus Effect ). Thanks to its hydrophobic nature, Sun Glare 5 does not permit penetration of water or moisture into any construction materials. However, the layer of Sun Glare 5 is capable to respire. It's an excellent Vapor Diffusion Retardant, helping moisture balance in hot and cold climates. |
